Sorry I’ve been so distant. Things I could blog about seem to end up on Instagram. I know I want to keep blogging, but I’m trying to figure out what I want to post out into the world. Are there things you want me to blog about? Please post suggestions in the comments! I do like American life, but I miss blogging from Spain where I was always going on little trips. Blogging about trips, whether I was going on them or dreaming about them has always been my favorite thing to blog. I guess I should really just blog weekly and maybe tell you more current things about what’s going on with me. Here, I’ll start.
Now can we talk about this baseball dress/shirt from Zara? It’s silly, but I think I should own it. I love the words and phrases Zara chooses for their fashion line.

Happy Birthday To Us!
I met Elvis at an ice cream shop tonight. He may not have looked like his handsome 50s self, but 70s Elvis is better than no Elvis. He sang songs and made terrible jokes. I was laughing all by myself because David had to work, but I’m happy I went out in the rain and met Elvis for birthday ice cream. You love him, right?
In the morning David surprised me with tulips, a mini cake, and an adorable letter listed with presents he would give me, like painting my toenails and a dance. See last year’s birthday post here, Also, Happy Birthday to David Bowie as well!

Confetti with my Frenchman keychain. The tag on my keychain says, “Some French guy reminds you that good food and wine feed the body and soul!” Happy New Year! Bonne année! Feliz año!

I made soufflé for the first time last night, which consisted of making chocolate pudding and meringue and mixing it together. Watching the egg whites and powdered sugar turn to beautiful meringuey snow and the soufflé rise in the oven made me absolutely giddy. Note: When making meringue, don’t you dare let a little bit of yolk into the egg whites for it will not transform into meringue.
